The LSU win did wonders. Haven't lost any contributors to the portal yet. Recruiting still in disarray. Need to plug some gaps with transfers. Skill positions on offense are a major concern.

He bought himself a small amount of breathing room with the LSU win. Still doesn’t excuse the fact his horrible offensive play calling cost us at least 4 games.

Final judgement will be rendered after signing day, inbound transfers are inked, and the staff is reworked.
At this stage, however, much of the non-head case guys appear to be sticking around.
Hell, even Rueben Owens might even be in play now that the Louisville coach just bolted.

Jimbo is a master at controlling the narrative.
Going into this season, 9-3 was considered a disappointment so he went 3-7, beat UMass, and then gameplanned his arse off vs LSU and pulled off the upset.
Now he can go 8-4 in 2023 and claim it's still a young team building toward the future and it'll be fine with the fanbase.
He took 9-3 being a disappointment in 2022 to 8-4 being "fine" in 2023.

They Won the battle, but lost the war.
Jimbo has been raked over the coals on his offense and play calling. His response has been, “it’s execution”, “smash is a smash whoever is calling it”. You then have LSU game and it proves his argument, in his mind. LSU fans know this from Miles of inept offense pulling upsets. So he will give you the sacrifice of Darrell. But you know nothing will change. Ooofffff
