Makes sense.

Huge rivalry. Both teams in the top 6. Both with conference and national title chances and aspirations.

Like how Alabama/LSU used to be, before LSU went on their decline.

I for sure thought UGA-Tech would be higher, since we are such a mediocre program and UGA is the pinnacle of colllege football

last years OSU/UM game beat this years iron bowl by a decent amount fwiw

So the primary programs from two high-population states has a higher television rating than the top two programs from one mid-population state playing each other?
