yep
Leinart was at USCw 2 yrs as starter
his 1st yr (Jr) he was 283 of 431 (WAY more attempts) 65.7 pct 3815 yds 28 TDs 8 INTs 157.7 QB Rating
Last yr as a JR AJ threw 211 of 314, 2933 yds 67.2 pct comp (telling stat) 30 TDs 3 INTs (look 100+ less attempts yet MORE TDs) 175.3 QB Rating
& McCarron has this yr as a SR
He's better
ETA: His Sr year Leinart still had a lower pct

He's just another Matt Leinart, Ken Dorsey type...players surrounded by elite talent that make them look better than they really are.
Maybe. You can do a lot worse though.

We've argued about AJ before, the great thing is we'll see in the not so distant future how good he really is when he'll have to carry a team by himself.

oh no doubt. AJ's a good player, i just think being on these ridiculously loaded bama teams makes him look better than he really is. I would like to see how good he would do when he isn't handing the ball off to NFL RB's, isn't touched at all because of a bad arse Oline or throwing to wide open WR's. He has it really good. You can replace AJ with tons of QB's out there and Bama wouldn't lose a step.

There's a joke here somewhere about a Bama fan using a livestock or farm animal as a reference. But that would require having a sense of humor, so I will refrain.

Sorta like Matt Barkley this past year.

Yeah because Leinart's USC teams were devoid of talent.
What gets me is one minute all we have is NFL busts and the next minute we are loaded with ELITE talent, NFL RBs, and badass O line.

did you not see my first post where I said AJ would be like a "leinart" a guy sorrounded by elite talent?

I have no idea who's saying this. Bama's players are representing quite well in the NFL

I don't even know what OP talking but i do know AJ is about to go down as the most decorated college football player of all time after this year:
Holy shite, you're stupid.

lol wut?? Bama's Oline and RB's are superior to USC's. Besides Barkley went 4th round which about where AJ should go. I'll lmao if a team takes him high in the first round.

Yeah, Barkley will have a much better pro career than AJ.
