And even the lone L was avenged mightily and swiftly for an SEC title two months later.

The year before that loss, in 2000, Rohan Davey threw a touchdown to upset #11 UT in overtime.

Saban broke Tenn
That SEC title at LSU kept Tenn from playing for the national title after their big win over Fla the week before due to games being moved because of 9/11

I look forward to the day when Tennessee's entire student body hadn't been born the last time they beat Alabama in football.

I remember that SEC title game. Rohan Davey gets injured while LSU is down and Saban puts in the backup and proceed to beat the breaks off of UT.

Florida's 1-6, yall barely beat him in year 2 with your best team ever and lost the following year with a national championship on the line and Tebow a senior. Yall just havent had to play him that often or your record would probably be similar.

Florida has beat Saban, what, a single time since he's been at Alabama?

Doesn't Florida have a pretty impressive streak going against Tennessee, too?

I was thinking so. I realize that Tennessee has been pretty bad for awhile, but it's hard to compile a strong record like that against anybody.

Look forward to?

That's a lot of disdain for a school and fan base.

Is there a back story?

Family?

In-laws?

That 2001 LSU team was very good. I still don’t understand how they got beat by Ole Miss and just obliterated by Florida.
