White is an elite coach..I pray Arizona does not immediately grab him..please..do not grab White!! What's Arizona's ADs email? Going to stress how much he should not take White from us.

Thats really the only type of coach from a big conference I can see leaving. There wouldn't be much of a fight to keep him.

Probably more like no fight. Would be the ideal situation for Stricklin who seems too nice to make the tough calls. Got lucky before when Mac pretty much fired himself.

That said, this has no shot of happening. White just picked up his 3rd transfer out of the portal and already this has the makings of another decent, unlikely to be great team. He'll get in the tournament and get another pat on the back from Stricklin. Same results, different year. Wash, rinse and repeat.

I'm pretty sure I heard the Rant Florida fans cheer all the way up here in Kentucky when this was posted.

Muss has been hitting the portal hard. That doesn't sound like someone that is looking for another job.

Arizona is in a bad spot. Not sure if they'll be able to lure any proven P5 coach. May be smart of them to go and find their Matt Luke to bridge the gap and absorb the pending NCAA issues over the next few years and then get a proven guy.

Pope would be a heckuva hire but not sure a Mormon is looking to leave BYU.

Curious if they would promote Jason Terry or bring in Damon Stoudamire even though he hasnt set the world on fire at Pacific? He had a good season in 2019, but went 9-9 this season.

Tommy Lloyd isn’t going. His parents live in the Spokane area, just built a house, and Gonzaga is giving him a huge pay raise to keep him. Stoudamire is the lead horse.

Anyone will leave if they can get a promotion! That is the whole point of moving!

Arizona is a great job... usually. I'm not sure you are going to get a proven head coach to go there and fight their way through the oncoming sanctions.

But a former head coach who can set up a "caretaker" regime and get you through the sanctions would be a great hire. Do some damage control, wait the sanctions out, and then swing for the fences on the head coach.
