I can see kids from the big 10 and pac 12 transferring to leagues that are planning to play football. Would have to think the NCAA has to approve waivers for immediate eligibility since they aren't being given a chance to play at their current school.

Scholarship and roster limitations at this point would probably be an issue, no? Can't imagine that many schools have a bunch of open spots.

Yeah, rosters are pretty much set at 85 at this point. Plus there's the whole learning the playbook thing, etc.

Influx to me means a bunch of transfers. Of course a few would happen. But, I guess it depends on your definition of influx.

Won't happen.
Let's bring more players into the already chaotic testing protocols that are in place.
Schools can't afford to do that.
How do you account for their scholarships and housing and everything else you have to do to test them.
Finances are already a tremendous burden without adding to that.

Any competitive P5 program still playing are already at 85 or over with blue and gray shirts etc. plus no time for Fall registration and admission on the academic side. Those kids are screwed.

The crazy thing is that Lane left a bunch of scholarships open. We have room. But it has to happen this week to get them enrolled.

Players that have opted out, have opened spots for transfers
