Duke and Texas Tech are conference champions of a good high school conference in Georgia or Florida. Neither have played a team with a pulse. Indiana has played 2 teams with a pulse, and beat them both, but none of those 3 are very good either. Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, ATM, Vandy, Oklahoma and UGA would all beat Indiana, Ohio State, Oregon, duke, Miami, and Notre dame more than they wouldn’t if they played multiple times

Yep. The SEC leadership isn’t firing on all cylinders like it once was. They used to be the smartest guy in the room. Now it’s one self inflicted error after another. No sense adding strong schools if you’re going to be treated no differently than the Big XII or ACC. No sense making every member play a P4 in non-con. No sense adding a 9th conference game. No sense playing a championship game.
