Well it’s settled, BK has officially taken the LSU program a step back from its once illustrious spot of #2

Wrong as usual. UGA is clearly no. 2 in the SEC all time by any standard. Also we just completed the best year of all time, check out these facts...
Back to back, most points in championship history, biggest blowout in championship history, biggest blowout in any bowl ever, top 5 offense and defense, beat 7 ranked teams, Average: +29.4 Scoring Margin against final top 25 teams(which is the highest of all time) all this in a rebuild year after losing 15 players to the draft and 13 to the portal. Best of all time and it's not even close!!!

UGA was extremely lucky to beat Ohio State in the last 2 minutes, and TCU had no business in the playoffs, losing their own conference title game, but that's not the point of this thread.

Using this silly metric, you are saying that LSU had a better season than Alabama in 2011. Even if you discount seasonal winning percentage, they are still "equal".
Bama 20 pts from national title and 25 pts from second best winning percentage
LSU 20 pts from SEC title, and 30 points for best winning percentage (due to winning the SEC Championship game)

3 this millennium spread out over back to back
One show’s consistency in being a top power. The other shows a Johnny come lately riding a weak division and schedule.

the category for winning pct is clearly, as noted, alltime winning pct as measured by Stassen. All those sources are unbiased sources, not even associated with the SEC, let alone any particular team

Why are both a Natty and SEC title worth 20 points? Natty should be more.

The point remains that an SEC title should not be considered equal to a national title. Again, if that is the metric, you are saying that LSU had a season equal to that of Bama in 2011, and Bama had a season equal to that of UGA in 2021. Be both know that is complete and utter bullshite.

UGA was extremely lucky
I love how UGA was lucky osu missed their fg but osu wasn't lucky that UGA missed two fgs. The Buckeyes were lucky they had a chance to win it at the end. And certainly don't give Georgia any credit for making it a difficult kick.

It's measuring SEC, not national and UGA has 2 more than LSU does, but you got a point, and if you want to measure it that way, fine by me. That took me like 3 or 4 minutes total. It took way longer to type than to calculate it. It's all a little subjective anyway.
edit: if you give more points for national titles, Alabama's lead over the rest of the SEC is probably more, though I didn't calculate it, so it works ok for me.

More difficult to win than NC in a lot of ways.
