Ole Miss beat writer Nick Suss writes article on Matt Corral saying Corral doesn’t deserve the Heisman. Nick Suss should never write again and he ended Corral’s chances on a Heisman.

He a state grad? Sounds like a complete a-hole. Even if he thought that there is no reason to write about it. If he is a voter then vote for someone else.

Did he just say it or did he express his opinion during the season?
If he's just agreeing with those candidates who are now invited, so what? He's just keeping it real.

I haven't read the article but the Heisman is too stats oriented now days. Bryce Young won it in the SEC title anyway and it's not even close. Corral got too banged up willing us to victory in Knoxville. It took him a month to recover fully and his top 3 WR were banged up. It was hard to go fast and throw it around for the stats he needed when we had inexperienced wide out on the field. It just wasn't meant to be. He is a hell of a player and had a hell of a year it just wasn't a Heisman year.

Dude didn’t even get invited to the ceremony. Seems like the Heisman Trust and it’s voters ended his campaign.

A local newspaper columnist ended Corral’s Chances for a national award?? Cause he didn’t think he was deserving?
You are saying a nobody writer for a podunk paper, who even I haven’t heard of in this state, ended his chances??
It absolutely cannot be that another QB beat him head to head, beat auburn, just beat the number one team in the nation on a huge stage, and led the team to #1 in the playoff…. Nahh… friggen local beat writers!!

Yeah Smith and Mingo will be awesome together. I'm sure we add another WR from the portal too. Ealy and Parish are back. Add Dillon Gabriel and we shouldn't have much of a drop off on offense.

What is it with Matt Corrall that has OM fans so excited? From the few OM games I’ve watched I just don’t understand the Corrall hype. I’d put him several notches down from Kelly as far as recent OM QB’s go.
