I agree on letting the players back June 1. Riley has to realize that we have to adapt all while this pandemic continues. But life must go on.
Dirtburglars even has some disagree with Riley’s take. We need to take every advantage possible in getting players conditioned and developed for whenever the next season arrives. The SEC allowing players back on June 1 is just a fine example of how proactive and dominant the SEC has been on the championship stage. They are the go-getters, and comments like Riley’s is why OU and others for that matter can never finish.
Be proactive, but still be cautious. He also should refrain from saying anything toward the SEC because, well, 0-3 in the CFP.

A refreshingly honest take. I agree

I keep hearing from governors and ADs that we won't open things up or play football unless we get a vaccine. Do they not know that a vaccine is not a cure? It just helps the body fight the virus and it certainly won't make you 100 percent immune to it.
It could take months or years for a vaccine to be ready. Are we going to cancel all sports just waiting on a vaccine? It is just too much fear mongering and we need to move on from this.

As said before...that’s why no one will remember his name when he is done.

Every head coach that has played on the biggest stages will always be remembered from Oklahoma:
Wilkinson, Switzer, Stoops, Riley

Barry Switzerland was the toughest SOB to come it of okey. He would’ve made his players to quarantine in the field house.
Lincoln will not be remembered unless u consider the playoff bitch....

It’s still early in his career. He still has plenty of time to get a win, just as long as it’s not against an SEC team.

Switzer let the inmates (literally) run the asylum and Oklahoma got sanctions bc of it. They should vacate all those wins

Lincoln won’t be the answer there. He’ll never have a decent defense. The reputation is sewn there and they can’t recruit good enough players throughout a D. Grinch was a hope and a prayer and if he can’t make it work, no one will.

Lincoln Riley actually needs to spend more than one minute per practice on defense
That would be a start. They should be nowhere near a playoff until that happens
I don’t give a frick what their record is

How about UGA? 1980 is a long time for UGA.
