I honestly thought he would transfer with Hagans coming back and Maxey coming in but now he is the SEC Player of the Year. A testament to guys sticking it out with one team instead of leaving at the first sign of competition.

One of the best kids when it comes to character that’s put on the blue and white. Such a great and humble kid. Glad he’s on my team

Don't be surprised if he comes back next year, he comes from a VERY religious family and his father didn't even approve of him leaving home just to play college basketball because of the temptation to stray from his faith.
That could play a role in his pro decision.

I also imagine if he can come back and run some point consistently, it’ll improve his stock as well.
