We knew our front 7 would be good with so many returning. To hear our secondary had made huge improvement (which is what cost us last year) is good news.

Moorhead is an offense guy and I have learned a lot from those with media who actually cover MSU exclusively. I'm starting to believe more than 8-9 wins.

Good for you! I am also a believer in my football team that will continue get better and win 8 or more regular season games this year. I am very glad Barry Odom is the guy that will make the football team good again. hopefully he can make the team great down the road if not this year.

PS: shouldn't you change your username to exMullenBoys?

With the amount of cucks that litter your team, I’d bet on a 4 win season at most.

Might as well. I think we gonna shock some people. And I've always been realistic on this board. We need to win the first 3-4 games as the team gels and then watch out.

So no sig bet?

I honestly think State will win 8 games in the regular season, and win their bowl game for 9 wins.

But hellz naw to 10 wins.

We created SJWU at Mizzou. Timeline:

2015:

November 5th: Mississippi State dominates Missouri in Columbia 31-13

November 8th: the Football Players join the SJW Protests at the University of Missouri

I'm buying everything about Moo State this year except for the coach. I'm not sold on him yet. I really have tremendous respect for Dan Mullen's ability to get the absolute most out of his talent. The only real question mark on this team is how Fitzgerald rebounds from that ugly injury last year.

I predicted a championship in 2000 so I'm gonna expect 9, hope for ten, wish for 11, and if need be make a trip to the crossroads in Clarksdale for 12.

But why about Moorhead? Granted his first head coaching job was at Fordham, the worst team in the conference. Look what he did there. That is unbelievable. Then 2 years at Penn State as offensive coordinator. You have to admit their offense was scoring big points. So now he is at MSU and suddenly he can't coach until proven? See you in BR.

I mean, he isn't proven. Like I said, Dan Mullen is probably one of the 10 best coaches in CFB. Maybe Moorhead's great. Maybe he's just ok. It takes a Herculean effort to succeed at Miss State. They split a small state with a more traditional power and have one of the poorest donor bases. They have historically been a cellar dweller in the conference, but that all changed under Mullen. Mullen was more transformative for Miss State than Saban was for LSU.

Moorehead could be a really great coach and still not succeed half as much as Mullen did. Winning there is just that hard. I'm not convinced he can do that...yet (for the record, I have very little confidence in LSU's head coach as well). We'll just have to see.

I don't see how Moorehead doesn't win at least 7 or 8 games with that roster, though. Mullen left a stacked cupboard so long as Fitz is healthy. He was a monster before he got hurt last year.

Was this meant for me or Zou? Is this an acceptance of the sig line bet?

We gonna beat Ole Miss regardless and not because we are rivals. Defense wins most games which you do not have and Moorhead on offense makes a defense look bad.

Ole Miss will be a strong offense, no doubt about that. But our offense will keep up while your defense can't. Our defense will force turnovers and force 3 and outs enough times too. Mark it down.
