I'm ready too. Can't wait to drink. And I'm not saying that because of the impending loss, I just like to save my drinking for the weekend.

Actually I feel like an idiot for even having to ask this, but does anyone know how to get CBS without having basic cable?
I simply use my dad's Spectrum credentials for ESPN, FoxSports, NBC Sports and whatever else I can use it for.. but the CBS App on Roku does not seem very friendly, or least wasn't the last time I tried. How can I watch without going to a bar? I mean I'll probably end up at the bar anyway, but for the rest of the season I'd like to know how to watch games on CBS.

Just get an over the air HD antenna. Your local big box store should have one.
The one you need depends on how far you are from the local broadcast station.

Not doing all that shite.. I had a little receiver with bunny ears a couple years back and it looked tacky as frick in my apartment. I don't want to have to put something up or on my wall for 1 channel.

sign up for youtubeTV. I think the CBS app doesn't do live games. Personally i have youtubeTV so i don't have to worry about anything like this.

Today they're flat and you can sticky tape them to the back of your set. Heck most of them even provide the double sided tape.

Cable is the biggest waste of money. I already pay $66/mo. just for my internet. I get HBO Now, Netflix, and my brother's PLEX server all free and anything I can log into with my dad's Spectrum, which is most sports channels. Why would I pay for cable?

I bought a pretty good sized ota antenna and just placed it in my attic. It works great. You can even put it in your crawl space too. Totally different from the old days when the picture was fuzzy. With HD either you have the channel pic or nothing at all. It works great either way and you can pick one up at Wal mart or best buy for $40
