UF schematically still matches up very well with what OU does, on both sides actually.

Their OL is struggling to protect their QB, something that our defense actually excels at

I was really looking forward to OU/Florida but it’s lost a lot of the luster with all the receivers bailing.

OU's defense excels at shutting down the run. Well, UF doesn't exactly run it much anyway. UF distributes the ball to the RBs really well out of the backfield in the passing game.

UF also went exclusively to the empty formation against Bama, causing Bama to have to declare their defensive looks presnap. This negated a lot of blitzing for the most part.

OU's defense hasn't faced a passing game like UFs this year, from a statistical standpoint. They've also had their best DB opt out as well.

OU's OL has struggled to protect Rattler lately, and that is something UF actually excels at on defense. They lead the SEC in sacks.

And with Wilson opting out, that is UF's worst DB, which A&M and Bama picked on repeatedly, out of the lineup

Honestly, I worry about the young UF WRs on this stage, but it wouldn't shock me at all to see Kyle Trask put up another 400+ yards and 4 TDs in a win.

I guess you missed where I talked about what UF did to Bama to eliminate their blitzing

And??? UF faced Alabama, Georgia, and A&M. They put up 38, 44, and 46 points on those defenses.

OU won't be able to generate pressure fast enough with the front 4 to get to Trask if UF spreads OU out in empty.

Somehow, you came to the conclusion that this is an advantage for Florida.

If you watched UF all year, you'd know it was an advantage if hes out

You'll end up in max protect like everybody else has.

UF hasn't called a single play with max protection all year.

They didn't against A&M, not against Georgia, and not against Bama.

I don't see any of those teams listed with us in sacks.

Mullen is not going to change his scheme for 1 opponent with an elite DL, with questionable depth at LB and in the secondary.

But okay.
