I'm kind of interested in hearing The Pride of The South tonight

Variations of Dixie were apart of almost all their stuff. With cutting all variations of Dixie out like their AD stated they were doing then we will be hearing completely different stuff for the first time besides probably their usual after TD fight song.

I was just thinking that the student body at Ole Miss probably cares more about Star Wars music, than the traditional Civil War songs.

Well a lot of school did it. Its usually for bands who are terrible and have nothing personal to bring to the table. Now that we cant do anything personal it will be generic bullshite. Might as well nix the band as it just gets annoying at this point

I remember the first year we quit playing dixie at football games it was simply embarrassing. I was at an auburn game and their band was u ique and playing fun atuff. Then our band would try to drown then out with good ole vader. . I was all, "shut the frick up and let them play. You suck"

I love the Star Wars music, we need to associate ourselves with the rebel alliance more. I still wish Ackbar was our mascot

it the Darth Vader's theme they played in the old star wars movies. Orchestra style music. You know the music they play every time they switch over to him. If you've never seen Star Wars, then just don't worry about it. They like to play it on the road when Ole Miss is driving usually.
