I want to learn to play craps. I need to find someone to teach me. Slots are relaxing. They don't require much thinking. I sit there, get hammered, and push a button.

Craps is exciting, and gives you pretty good odds.

I play poker and occasionally blackjack. I'll put some money in a slot every once in a while. I put a $20 in the first slot inside the door the first time I ever went into a casino and won $500. I swear they keep tabs of the people that have never been there and have whatever they play first pay out big.

My parents took me to Vegas for two weeks for my 21st birthday.

I saved for the trip for two years.

It was fricking epic.

I've been hooked ever since.

See, I'd rather not waste money on something that always favors the house. I like money far too much.

Like I said, I go to relax. I intend on losing money. That's what makes winning so exciting.

I know how to play blackjack, I just rarely play. I know that once I get drunks won't think straight and I'll loose my arse.

My biggest win ever was playing online poker about 6 years ago at UBet.

Consequently, my biggest loss ever was playing online poker the same day.

Very true. We've told a lot of Dad stories, and did picture boards at the funeral home. And all Dad's hunting and fishing buddies had lots of stories to tell that kept us laughing for a while.

Those work too. One guy told us a story about dad at work that had us all with tears from laughing. Then of course, the hunting and fishing buddies were there too.

As long as you realize casions were meant to WIN your money you are good. Never take more than your willing to lose.

I know it sounds simple but it is the truth. You will win some and lose ALOT.

Thats why they build em.

This prob to long for IM??

I'm glad they are finally opening it. I need to plan a trip there. I miss the outlet mall. I could spend a weekend shopping and gambling. The polo outlet is my favorite store. I stayed in that store when I lived in MS.

Exactly. Running up a $300 pot and winning on the river is basically like sex.

I'm not going to lie... I've never felt as alive as when I won $20,000 playing poker, only to lose it all in 2 hands.

It sucked, but it was fricking insane.

Better than jumping out of an airplane.

Not at all.

And you made a very good point. As long as you are willing / can afford to lose what you bring in, you are ok. Some people go overboard though.

I'll agree it's entertaining, but i don't get a huge rush off it.

Not like cliff jumping, bama games, etc.

This is why I don't gamble. I've never even bought a lottery ticket.

I'd rather keep my money than win a little.

I've never won or lost $20,000. I would take that money and run if I ever won that much.
