If you foul before the ball is inbounded, don’t you get the ball back?

Happened at 7.5 seconds, I thought this was the rule. Really confused why AU didn’t get the ball back there.

Also the other foul was weak as hell.

That was called a technical foul in anearlier round game.

But, again, I do not agree with NCAA refs...

Only if it’s an intentional foul. A common foul like that wouldn’t cause the ball to go back to the team that was fouled

I know it's a technical in the NBA and thought it was in NCAA too but who the hell knows. I saw them call a technical in an earlier tourney game for the same shite.

Refs can basically do what the frick they want, when they want to. If that ref didn't call the foul on that last shot. UVA fans would be screaming to high heaven and wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Refs have too much control. We need robots.
