You going to work for MoDOT, or whatever Ark DOT is?

I did environmental and geotech. Though I ended up working more transportation materials and project management.

Arkansas calls it AHTD, and yes I am working with them this summer. I think I will end up in Baton Rouge after graduation, maybe with FHWA or LaDOTD

ETA: Bacon Queen has a say in the location as well

I do, but I still want to end up doing something more related to environmental. I don't get to do that much with my firm.

Yeah, I know I may not be lucky enough to get exactly what I want coming out. At least I will have a job, I will be ahead of many recent college graduates

Yeah. If I get my way, I will be back in St. Louis after graduation. I am interested in Energy. PG&E in California was interested in me this summer, so we will see.

Nice, you should move up to North Dakota and make bank if you're into that type of energy

But you do have a point though. If the money is right, I would probably go anywhere.

Fielding Yost used the shotgun formation at Michigan in the early 1900's. They called it the short punt formation back then, but it was the shotgun. Yost used it in a read option type of offense. These were the days of Michigan's point-a-minute teams. In 1901, they outscored opponents 555-0 for an 11-0 record, culminating with a 49-0 win over Stanford in the Rosebowl.

Giving Hickey credit for inventing the shotgun is like giving Alan Freed the credit for inventing rock-and-roll.

I've been up there many times for work. While that whole area sucks arse, you basically print money working up there if you get your housing provided to you, which any engineer obviously would. And the experience you get really helps you jump ahead in O&G from what I've heard (I'm not an engineer).
