I can firmly say this: In college, your head coach is everything. Absolutely, everything. Alabama hasn't lost to a coach since 2008 I haven't had *some* respect for (sans Auburn. I'm not hating, I just don't understand how we lose some of those games).

Ed Orgeron will never beat Alabama. Ever. When he was hired at LSU, we were relieved as hell. I was terrified Hugh Freeze was going to end up an OC, then shove Ed out the door to become the HC.

Jimbo Fischer, Kirby Smart, and Dan Mullen all stand to have a much better chance at beating us than LSU. They have all the $ and talent resources as the bayou bengals, with coaches that are just plainly... better.

horseshite! LSU has been soft in the trenches at times, and they've had an outdated offensive scheme.

It's been a combination of talent and gameplans. LSU has not been as good on the lines in last 5 years or so.

With that being said, as an LSU fan, this loss streak is truly infuriating because a few of those games absolutely could have been won and were just choked away.

The 2011 champ game truly fricked LSU and I will never forgive Alabama for it.

Alabama has had superior talent on the DL/OL/QB for YEARS.

I don't disagree with this, but it isn't like their has been a night and day difference. The biggest problem has been scheme and between the ears. The biggest issue has been mental. No way Bama should have won 29-0 last year. LSU lost that game before they even made it to the locker room. Would LSU have won if they had been right mentally probably not, but they should have at least been competitive and they weren't.

When the GOAT retires the chances of the streak coming to an end will increase.
Add Arky, Miss.St & UT to the list.
Here's hoping he's got 10 more years left in the tank.

In my view LSU has the best chance of beating Bama since the 2012 team; Alabama looks all of sudden thin at RB besides Najee Harris with sanders down for the year and they won’t have there stable system this year and Harris is no Derrick Henry. When given time there secondary is average with McKinney being the only player that scares me, surtain jr is not a lockdown corner and never played like the #1 recruited corner coming out of high school last year, does not have elite coverage skills; shyiem carter is a liability, and Diggs is overrated and not elite while coming off a broken foot. LSU offensive line will be the exact same as last year as there is no new turnover on that unit however they will not have to double team Williams. No mixture of Alfano or Mathis will come close to replicating the production of Quentin Williams. Raekwon Davis has underperformed. The only places where bama is Elite like years past is at LB (Dylan Moses is a beast should be fricking tiger, Terrell Lewis is a beast , Jennings is a beast, and the Transfer kid Kaho will be under the radar good) at WR (one is Elite as no one in the country can cover Jeudy one on one and consistently win he’s the best WR in the country and the best WR that will have came out Alabama since Julio even better than cooper. Fulton will not win that Match up but will slow him down some and will do a better job than greedy Williams as greedy Williams is overrated. Riggs, waddle, and smith are all really good players, but are not elite and can be limited by Kary Vincent, Derek Stingley Jr, Delpit if we bring him down to play one on one, or Jontre Kirklin. In general are secondary will hold up much better this upcoming year with Chaisson coming back as LSU will not have to bring any additional personnel in the box to get pressure on Tua like last year and get exposed in the back end for it. Bama has no tight end that will come close to filling the void left by Irv Smith jr.. LSU has better backs coming in this year that are more in line with backs that LSU is known for in years past (not average like cylde Edwards Helaire or nick brossette) in John Emery and Tyrion Davis; one of which will take over the starting job midway through the Texas game. This is the first time since 2012 we are on a similar footing talent wise with Alabama and the last time that occurred you won on a last second screen pass on a zero blitz by idiot Chavis after we were waxing you the whole second half. I also seemed to remember you had better coordinators back then a la Kirby Smart now you just have a washed up has been alcoholic as an offensive coordinator. So I like our odds
