I've been predicting "no", although I don't feel confident about that answer. I damn sure don't think it's a lock like LSU fans do.

If Georgia wins the SEC title game, LSU ranters will switch up the narrative and thank Georgia for the fact that they don’t have to play Clemson in the playoff. Can’t lose regardless of the outcome I’m Saturday, dammit!!!

because the 2nd sec team (alabama) was competing with an ohio state team that had 2 losses.
This year LSU would be competing with two 1-loss champions of P5 conferences.

If they look at Resume then yes because no one would have a better loss and better wins than LSU.
