I'll take a down year in baseball and everything else we're part of in the spring being great (UGA) to an up year in baseball and everything else sucking (Arkansas)

How quickly you are forgetting the 2009-2010 season. 16-37.

That team is much worse than this team.

We won't win 16 games this year. When Perno is fired, we'll be back.

They will win more than 16 games.

The weekend rotation is pretty good.

Midweek is a dumpster fire and the hitting has been anti-clutch, eventually there will be a big base hit with runners in scoring position.

Looking at our remaining schedule:

@ Clemson
@ UK x 3
@ Kennesaw
Mizzou x 3
GT
@ AU x 3
Presbyterian
Vandy x 3
GT at the Ted
Arkansas x 3
@ TN x 3
@ College of Charleston
@ SC x 3
@ GT
Florida x 3

Missouri is the only SEC series I see us maybe winning. We gotta win 8 of these games to tie. I don't see it happening at this rate.

A win tonight, and maybe we will.

Auburn, TN & UF are all quite winnable.

The weekend rotation Georgia is putting out there will result in some wins. The hitters are pressing right now.

Look back at the TAMU series, they could have easily taken the first two games.

Also, remind me when the updated standings release. We won a national title on Saturday, March 23. If these standings are as of March 21, it's not up to date.

And how many of your spring sports are ranked in the top 5 or 10?

Seriously though how has he gotten UGA from the national title game in 2008 to 2 times in the last 4 seasons not even being able to compete?

That is some serious consistency issues.

I feel like this has to be part of Pawlowski's problem.

All we play is small ball now

After the change teams who throw strikes consistently, put the ball in play, bunt and steal bases on offense are going to win ballgames.

Can't just wait on a 3 run bomb in more and have a pitching staff loaded up with guys who have swing and miss stuff.
