Will he try for another year in college to show he can overcome the injury or will he take his chances and go ahead and enter the draft?

Maybe take a redshift next year and get free medical and tine to fully rehab?

No reason for him to come back for just more risks. Rehab and work towards NFL.

He and bro should transfer and play for a coach that cares about their well being.

That's what I'm saying. Redshift at Bama next year and get the free medical and rehab and get ready to go in 2021. I don't think he needs to try to play college ball again. Too much risk for him to do so.

Redshirt, free medical, rehab, and can work on his degree in case things don’t work out.

He'll get free medical and rehab from the billion dollar franchise that drafts him

I really don’t k ow what would be best for him. I want to see him get paid a lot but I don’t see how he will get 1/2 round money with this injury. Problem is he is first round talent and intelligence. He and his family have a lot to contemplate. I just hope whatever he does it works out for him because he certainly has earned every good thing that comes his way.

I doubt anyone knows the answer to this outside of the family.

I'd consider coming back and redshirting like the others are saying. He can be a pretend GA helping the next quarterbacks develop while he rehabs, finish up his degree which he might actually need at some point if he has injury issues in the NFL, and do it all on Alabama's dime.

And continue to play for the man that put him in this predicament in the first place? Have you no shame?

There really is no limit to the lengths Alabama people will go.

I like this approach, especially since it keeps Bama short a schollie.

I’d love him back if he’s 100% but that puts the commitment of Bryce Young in jeopardy.

People including me was saying Durant should do the same thing after he tore his achilles in the NBA Finals. Instead, he opted out and signed a massive contract with the Nets. It really doesn't make much sense for Tua to come back for another year. If he doesn't play a down of football, how will he be able to improve his draft stock any more than where it currently is? Also, he'll be able to fully rehab with the best medical treatment in the pros and he'll actually get paid for it.

I just wonder how far he falls if he comes out this year?

Teams will know a lot more about his rehab by the time the draft comes around. It may work out better for him if he slides to the end of the first round. I imagine a team that can afford to wait on him to completely heal will take a chance on him like the Patriots or Saints. He may lose money on his first contract. But if he gets back to his old form he will make up for it on the second contract with a winning franchise. I would love for him to slide to the Saints

No reason at all for him to come back and take one more hit for free

Get a contract, even if a late round pick and get pain while getting back in playing shape.

If he recovers he’ll make it back on his second contract. But he needs to get something now. He’d be a fool to come back.
