If the SEC goes with pods, could we arrange them each year by final rankings?

Sort of like the soccer leagues in England? Going off of last year's results it might look something like this:

Tier 1: Alabama, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Georgia
Tier 2: Florida, Texas, Auburn, LSU
Tier 3: Missouri, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas
Tier 4: Tennessee, Mississippi St, South Carolina, Vanderbilt

Each pod plays its members, then 2 from the other pods. It would give the lower tier teams a chance to play an easier schedule and perhaps build their teams up. It might also bring back interest in bowl games, because your bowl performance could matter in your tier placement the next year. You could have a "Final Rankings Reveal" show after the season that would set the next season up. Just a thought.

I would be ok with something like that.

Would be a fun way to do things. I'd love to see Texas get relegated to tier 4.

That would be cool but I don't think that will ever happen.
