Lane will be the starter, I believe he'll be solid, was the best player in our spring game.
Rajion Neal is our change of pace back, right there with Hunter as the fastest on the team, but has major fumbling problems.
Devante Bourque is the wild card.

Undesirable.
Understatement. Which is why I was confused when DD told Cross to GTFO...

I disagree. Tennessee's junior and senior class last year were as bad as they have ever been in the history of the program.
We have seen plenty of Tennessee teams that were more talented than 11 Arky, last year's was not one of them.
Tennessee had a better defense than Arky last year and Arky's oline was terrible. Arky beats Tennessee at qb, recievers, runningback, and defensive end last year, but thats about it in my opinion.

How do you know this? We have four 4* RBs on the roster, and they finally have a position coach.
Tauren Poole, pure slaw, has finally graduated, meaning we will see what the young guys have.

Cross was too slow for SEC, plus Alden Hill was pretty much the exact runner. Davante Borque was a 250 player that signed with UT that will be playing runningback.
Lane is finally fully healed from his knee that he tore in high school. It usually takes over a year for a player to feel comfortable again after you have a bad injury to your knee.

Tennessee's secondary was awful last year, especially at CB.

Yea I forgot about corner, but if UT could put Waggner at corner then it wouldn't have been as bad. Randolph was playing good as a freshmen and Lanier was playing solid too.
Arkansas's defense was garbage last year, almost as bad as Auburn's

So all your hopes are pinned on young guys who were good in high school but haven't accomplished anything in college yet?
Yeah...I'd call that undesirable.

The one game Waggner started at corner (SC) was easily his best game. Getting a full season out of him at CB will improve our D quite a bit imo. Bonner may push Lanier for the other starting CB job.

you can't run the ball and you have an average QB.

I can't wait to see Bonner. He was supposed to be the highest rated player in Georgia last year until the stealing incident. Bonner and Mcneil will hopefully provide quality depth needed at the corner spot. It also helps having two coaches back there now instead of Joseph, who I thought was terrible.

Yeah Bonner was the highest rated DB in GA ahead of Geno Smith and others before the robbery.

Arkansas was ranked 87th in rushing last year, and UT has better prospects at receiver and quarterback

Production has not been average when he's had Hunter and Rogers.

Did you forget Bray's freshmen year when he broke Peyton Manning's records?

And they were publicly undressed by the two best teams in the league.
eta: and they didn't have Derek Dooley. The only coach in the SEC who makes even more WTF decisions than Les Miles without an ounce of the same luck.

There's this theory out there that Tennessee's defense was the problem last year. I don't really know where it started, but it's false.
quote:
Tenn played 5 ranked opponents last year that averaged 28.5 points a game last year. And that average goes down due to USCe playing w/o Lattimore. Take them out and it goes up to 39.25
Ewww - that defense is auburn bad

I was being serious. I don't know how many games Bray, Rogers, and Hunter have all been on the field together. Was it that way all of 2010?
