Aren't things sad in Knoxville when your best, or at least "most important" player, remaining healthy would bump your season UP to 8 wins?

you probably could score...but at will?

i don't see bama or LSU giving up gobs of points to you regardless of those 3.

LSU will shut it down, and Bama probably will too. They are losing a lot on defense so the players may not be as good from a scheme and mental standpoint. The good thing is, UT doesn't play LSU this year, and Bama is really the only defense that can straight up shut it down when its clicking.

UT has pretty much been on probation. It is what it is. The program is still recovering.

Pretty sure, I explicitly say, I don't think we have three first round draft picks at WR.

I think that's as big a jump as people saying UT will suck, can't run, etc..

Who knows. You get hit by Clowney and company or Jarvis Jones enough, and hitting any of the WRs will be hard.

I think you lose either Da'Rick or Hunter last year and it's the same result. Double teams and Zach Rogers as your #2. That's not working for any team. If we can run out a steady flow of Hunter-Da'Rick-Patterson with no Z. Rogers, I will be happy all year (if Bray stays healthy).

Teams didn't double team Rogers. That is a myth created by UT fans. Rogers got shut down on single man coverage. Most teams would put their best corner on Rogers, and put an extra safety in the box. With Hunter, teams have to worry about him a lot more.

Very sad. I'd argue our roster last year was one of the 5 worst in Tennessee history. Losing 4 of our your 5 best players off that squad leads to disastrous results.

Our best player last year was Janzen.

Not that I think we will be unstoppable or anything but everyone is forgetting we didn't have Bray or Hunter hardly at all during SEC play last year and didn't have Patterson at all

Arkansas didn't have it's #1 RB and has a free starter at QB too. We did fine.

Arkansas' roster was and is far better than ours.

As well as Petrino>>>>>>>Dooley as far as development

A runningback is as important to Arkansas as it is to UT. Arky would have barely won 7 games if they lost Tyler Wilson and Jarius Wright.

Tennessee has more talent that Arky. The players are just young. The Arky players understand the game, UT 's players dont yet. Which is understandable considering they had to play when they weren't ready.

If you all have a halfway decent running game, y'all could be a very good team next year. But that remains to be seen.

What is your RB situation?

I disagree. Tennessee's junior and senior class last year were as bad as they have ever been in the history of the program.

We have seen plenty of Tennessee teams that were more talented than 11 Arky, last year's was not one of them.

Arky was ranked 87th in rushing. Last year, teams blitzed UT all the time. Production starts at the qb position, and Bray was terrible at managing a run game because he never put in the extra hours. That has supposedly changed this year and it looked great in the orange and white game, but you know how spring goes, every team is expected to win the SEC so we'll see this year.
