There will a lot of empty seats next year in Neyland. I honestly don't have faith in this administration going out and making a big hire. They will try to save money and hire a Mike Bobo, Greg Schiono, or Mike Norvell. This administration doesn't get the big picture that to win big you have to spend big. Bama after years of mediocrity went out and paid big money for Saban and also gave him full control of the program. Saban has thus made Bama way more profitable and they are currently going through the best dynasty in college football history.
Tennessee's boosters mainly the Haslams do not want to give up full control of the program to a Gruden, Kelly, or Stoops. They want all the control and continue our program to wallow in shite. I fully expect another mid level hire and another ten years of being a bottom of the barrel SEC team.

Well, what do you expect? You have to convince your trailer park fanbase to pony up some funds at the Walmart to buy some Tennessee gear instead of wasting it on meth and 40oz maddogs.

Gruden is not leaving a part time $6.5 mil a year job so he can spend his off season flying around the country begging kids to come play for him.

Stoops isnt coaching again. He said so.

Kelly might be legitimate but Tenn would have to fight off other schools and Kelly's record with the NCAA is a huge problem.

Do you think Gruden, Kelly or Stoops want to be the full-control HC of UTs football program?

What I don't get is that the UT admin wants to prioritize Academics over Athletic so they make these shite decisions.

But look at Bama, since their football team has started dominating, their school reputation, standards, overall rankings have done nothing but gone up. A good football team is worth hundreds of Millions of dollars of advertising.

Our admin is retarded

Tennessee has one of if not the strongest fan bases in the country. You're right up there with Michigan and even Notre Dame.

Seriously, you sound like a Bama or LSU fan.

Your fan base is a special one. Stay true to it.

4 things:
1. In the offseason regardless of who they hire you will real in a top 20 recruiting class and be pumped for 2018.

2. That coach will blow at least one game next year to break your heart and you will hate him.

3. Y'all have proven to be a rabid and pretty loyal fanbase. I think you could hire a stick and average near a sold out stadium for the first 2 years of whoever you hire.

4. Mike Bobo would be a great hire. The dude can flat coach and that's what you need at Tennessee. You'll always get good athletes, but you need a smart and charismatic coach and that's who Bobo is. He doesn't have the name excitement, but I have no doubt he would be a winner.

I have a strong feeling that Kelly is pulling an Urban Meyer and waiting for a dream job or a perfect situation to open up. Money will have little influence on his next coaching destination.

Bobo or Norvell would actually be good hires.

Back to back 9 win seasons and you're ready to pull the plug on Butch?

Did Tennessee not learn its lesson after running Fulmer out of town?

They are completely empty seasons, we havent beaten anyone of substance since SC 2013:

UA: 0-5
UF: 1-4
UGA: 2-3
Vandy: 2-2
USC: 3-2
Rotating West opponent: 0-4

Hes got to go
