If Saban wins tomorrow, does he finally hang it up?

He’ll be 67 in October. Already considered the best ever. What does he have left to prove? He can’t possibly want to stay in Tuscaloosa forever.

Ride off into the sunset, Pony boy.

It honestly has to be close. I think he may want to pass Bear in all time titles at Bama though.

Nope. He's going until he surpasses Spurrier in all-time SEC wins.

All he needs to do is four more years at 7.5 wins per year.

I think he wants one more title to pass bear but I also have a feeling he may coach until his health doesn't allow him to. I don't know if he is the type of person that would enjoy not working anymore.

He’ll probably stay until he passes Bear’s UA title record, not overall title record. What I mean is, I think Saban wants 7 titles at UA so he can be ahead of Bear’s 6 at UA.

That is it..... he will want to pass Coach Bryant's NC count nationally and at Alabama. So when Alabama wins tomorrow, he will tied Coach Bryant with 6 overall, 5 at Alabama. Coach Saban will want to win 2 more to seal the deal.

Question is; will he want to win 7 real titles or just win a few and claim a bunch more?

Actually we still have a lot to prove

For example:

We've never produced an undefeated team in the discussion for greatest team of all time

We've never had a season of all blow outs

We've never had a season of 0 points surrendered (leather helmet achievement).

I could only hope. But no, he is enjoying himself and still has at least five years left in his coaching tenure.

Little people live longer ... he'll make the century mark. But he'll want to be a living legend by 72 so he'll retire by then, drop outta sight then reappear.

Fans of other teams begging for him to retire. That’s how you know Saban is the GOAT

Well,

He hasn't bested bryant yet
The best ever thing is still debatable until he passes bryant
He isn't an old 67
Football is his life
The Saban family really is fond of Tuscaloosa and central Alabama. Both kids are married to alabamians and will be making Alabama their permanent home. Terri said nick loves the state because it reminds him of west Virginia. Nick and Terri are extremely involved in the community from a personal and business standpoint and really made a home here.
He can win at Bama like he can't but at maybe 2 or 3 other schools. Nick hates, hates to lose and is done rebuilding.
As long as his health is good, He hasn't lost the fire, He isn't giving this gig up. I look for him to go around 75 or so.

I love when LSU fans say this as if they have some inside information that no one else knows about.
