If Saban had never coached at LSU, who is more likely to win a title there?

These two are very "special" and managed to win. Ed O is pretty lucky where his career has led him.

Only 19 players on the 2007 NC team were recruited by Nick Saban. Very few were ever coached by Nick Saban.

If you want to argue that Les won because of Saban's players then you can make the same argument that CEO won with some of Les Miles' players.

Look at the core players on each team then check when they signed with LSU.

All of these players signed in either the 2015 or 2016 class. Both Classes that Miles was the head coach at LSU for.

Fulton
Lawrence
Divinity
Stephen Sullivan
Glen Logan
Andre Anthony
Ray Thornton
Lloyd Cushenberry
Cam Lewis
Jamal Pettigrew
Donovan Campbell
Derrick Dillion
Adrian McGee
Blake Ferguson

Neither.

Had Saban never been at LSU to show them how to run the program, improve the facilities, etc... Miles nor O could win a Championship without the groundwork Saban did.

It hurts to say that knowing he's at Bama but most LSU fans with a brain realize the importance of Saban spending time in Baton Rouge.

Only like 3 of those were starters on the 2019 team. Also, Orgeron was the recruiting coordinator in 2015 and 2016.

Those core players still had to be coach up. Who coach Saban's recruits? Les Miles and his staff. Same goes for CEO.

If you really want to back it up. Saban's won with Gerry DiNardo's players.

LSU was so full of BOS incompetence we would still be
waiting for anything better than 9-3.Not until Mark
Emmert`s foresight and political accumen did LSU see the
light. He hired Saban and shoved it up the BOS`s arse.
Let me tell you those SOB`s were waiting for getback.
Once Saban won the Natty they were forced to have a
successful program and spend the money.

neither of them win a title without Saban having established the culture of winning prior and the infrastructure required.

I don't think Miles, and certainly not Coach O, have the organizational skills to build a middling program to greatness. It's also become clear that neither of those guys really have those skills to maintain a program either

It's funny because it's true. If you're going to say Les Mile's won with Saban's recruit, then you'll have to say the same for all the other coaches in CFB that won it within 3-4 years after the previous coach.
