If pac-12 (and others) don’t play, but the rest do, what happens to player’s elgibility?

Would the pac-12 team’s players lose a year even though they didn’t play the season? If they retain that year of eligibility, do the pac-12 teams not get to have a recruiting class for the next year? With growing speculation that some conferences will sit next year out, how is that going to shake out?

If they haven't used their red shirt year, it can be their red shirt year. If they have, tough. They lose a year of eligibility. Nobody told them they had to go to a snowflake school.

If the Pac-12 can’t play football in the fall, prepare for a mass exodus of players leaving the conference to head to the SEC, ACC, Big Ten and Big 12.

It only matters to us (A&M) bc we’re scheduled to play the Pac-12 OOC.

You can't take a power 5 conference and distribute those players. Kids need to be held to their commitment and the reason why this is discussed is because they've let idiots out of their commitments.

Not a very serious way of discussing matters.
