Would they play the in the SEC title game? Or does the second place East play in the title game?

If they win that, do they get the title?

Good question. I would believe the 2nd place team would play in their place due to the fact that Mizzou cheated to keep players eligible. Hope this answers your question.

They wont, but yeah the second place team would go. This happened before, I think bama won the west but was ineligible, and the 2nd place team went

Yep. This isn't the first time this sort of scenario has presented itself.

we have players from greater than 5 years ago still playing football? Also 80% of the 12 student athletes involved were softball or baseball players. I legit think it was just 1 no more than 2 football players.

If I am not mistaken - if the ban is still under appeal, they can play in the post season....

If it is upheld after the season then they lose next seasons post-season

And if/when it is rescinded....this is all just a moo point...

It is possible that Georgia beats Florida and Mizzou then loses @Auburn and then to an A&M team that usually gets better through the year and a 1 loss Florida or Mizzou steals it.

But FL and mizz play each other so that's another loss on one of you.

And East wins take precedence over west losses for tie breaker.

But this is all just dildo talk anyway.

Florida and Mizzou are both getting ripped from anus to chest by Georgia, regardless.

First it’s moot not moo point.

Anyway, I do t think that’s how appeals work in this case. You are banned unless you win the appeal, that’s why they want a quick decision.

ETA- well I’m wrong; the baseball and softball got to play postseason because of the appeal. So I assume football would too. However most think the decision is about to come down before seasons end and then it would go into affect immediately.

On a side note , I think the post season ban is a little much and it should be lifted.

Let me save you some time- there’s no chance in hell that a team that couldn’t bear Wyoming is gonna beat Georgia. Your not going to the SEC title and by some miracle you do- you’ll be slaughtered by whoever comes out of the west.
