10% in a 5 point game is not insignificant. I realize you have no reference for this, as most of the games we play are absolute blowouts.

I realize you've probably never played football before but no one is 100% in November.

So you're saying he fumbled because of the "injury?"

That was before they played Alabama.

LSU wins again. That Bama defense was pretty pathetic. It was different in 2011 where Bama was the superior team in the 1st game and kept missing kicks and shooting themselves in the foot. 2019 LSU was just better.

Also another thing is other than the Georgia game in 2017 Tua was shaky in big games and would force stuff and try to hit the HR play.

You'd be wrong, but that's par for the course for you.

This is accurate. LSU improved significantly as the 2019 season went on, no one was beating them. In 2011, Bama was the better team. LSU just played incredible defense and got some breaks to earn the split.

I don't disagree. With a healthy Tua, Bama had a legit shot of pulling off the first game.

But, after the win vs Bama, the 2019 LSU team was on a whole other trajectory in confidence and offensive execution. A rematch goes the same way with a bigger final score differential.

Offense wouldn’t have been our problem. We would have score close to 40 points again but our defense wouldn’t have been able to stop them. Jamar Chase would have abused Diggs again. And our young LBers would have been toyed with by Burrow on 3rd downs

I mean there was zero percent chance he was scoring on that play regardless lol.

There was 3 LSU players in front of him, only one of which being partially blocked, and 4 other guys within 5 yards of him trailing behind, when he was at the 10 yard line.

Yeah, everyone points to that play as some "momentous game changing play" and it really wasn't.

It was third down so he likely gets tackled and they kick a field goal which still doesn't give them the win.

They gave LSU the ball at their own 8, Burrow's fumble at midfield later in the game was a much "worse" turnover than Tua's was.

Absolutely.

Look at the defense after Ole Miss.

Finished out the season giving up 20,7 and 10 before holding the #4 and #6 to 28 and 24 points in blowouts.

And somehow, our offense got even better.

You have no clue if we would have gone for it on 4th down or not.

The biggest play of that game was a crucial 3rd down in the 4th quarter where Bama had all the momentum and just needing 1 stop to get ball back with chance to take lead…… 3rd and 10 Burrow is hurried throws a bad pass to CEH who catches it on his shoe tops at the line of scrimmage and then proceeds to make Trevon Diggs his bitch and drags him 10yds for the 1st down. frick Trevon Diggs

I'd argue the only reason the game was close was because of the Burrow fumble on the first drive out of the half.

We were driving and he missed Chase on what would have been a TD and make it 40-13. Fumble happens on the next play and Alabama took the momentum back.

But yes the CEH play was a big one. LSU just made more plays than Bama, even though we missed some opportunities
