If LSU goes down, they will take others with it.

And a castrated LSU means less eliteness in SEC athletics. Less exciting games. Less meaningful games

Your own teams would suffer.

Maybe a few knuckleheads might want that outcome, a majority are watching the fireworks and making cheeky threads. It's like watching someone put out a grease fire with water... this whole fiasco could have been prevented by following normal compliance office procedures.

I'm totally on board with taking that risk.

Also, if the SEC could survive Alabama football spending a decade wandering in the desert the SEC could easily survive LSU being nuked by the NCAA and/or federal government.
