If LSU-Auburn is on the chopping block for expansion scheduling, it's one I'll miss

Last Saturday was my first time in Jordan-Hare Stadium, and my first impression of Auburn fans is that they're very cool and hospitable. Also, our games seem to always be wars, doesn't matter which team is better, you just have to find a way to win, especially on the road. I'm glad we did, although I was nervous for a while.

And the eagle flying around the stadium is awesome, admittedly one of the best college football traditions. Y'all pulled the stripe out very well, I wore purple in my section, but almost everyone else wore orange like they were told to. It looked great from my point of view in the upper deck.

Yeah, this game goes to twice every 4 years, which still doesn’t suck, and is a fair trade to pick up UGA& Tennessee more often - hell, going to Nashville once every 4 years will be great, and you can always get good tickets

but don’t worry, you’ll still get to play Aggie every year

Would be terrible for college football to lose this series.

It has it all and then some.

I wish they wouldn't cut the classic games. We haven't ever had much of a history playing Auburn. I miss us playing Tennessee every year. That was a admittedly lopsided but historic conference match up. We won some good ones.

I like playing Arkansas every year. That's been competitive and fun growing rivalry. I like it. Would hate to lose that one. Pretty certain they will keep Ole Miss, LSU, MSU trifecta in place. All 3 are some of the oldest series in the SEC. Beyond that though, I don't know what they will do.

One of the great series in all of College Football.

Tough physical and intense games, with its share of high stakes over the years.

I will gladly take going to Jordan Hare once every four years if it means it doesn’t take 12 years to get to Athens.

no way Auburn draws Bama, Georgia and LSU as their 3 permanent games

They MIGHT get 3 big 6/power teams, but if that happens it will be the Gators

Auburn has Bama and Georgia as their must play games, they wouldn't pick us as well. We have Ole Miss, then Florida and Bama I guess? We don't have real SEC rivals like they do. We've played MSU more than anyone else, but we've historically dominated that series.

Lots of great southern rivalries are about to be thrown in the garbage so Alabama can skull frick Texas and Oklahoma every other year.

I like it. Trade it for UGA game. I like LSU fan and it means a weekend in NO every other year. Instead of a night in Atlanta.

It probably is BUT it’s not like you won’t play them every other year. It’s one of, if not the, best SEC games every year

I thought DSOR was one of the sacred cows of the SEC schedule? But if you'd rather trade UGA for us, I'll listen.

Shut up, we all know you can hardly afford to leave your trailer in Tallassee much less go to NO for a game

We all know what flags are posted outside of trailers. Remember the article last month on the education and income of AU fans and Bammers? Lolololol.

I like the AU v LSU series.

I hated giving up Florida and Tennessee, but the LSU game has been a lot of fun. It's the rivalries that make college football special.

You could say it's relatively new, we didn't play each other for a while until the SEC established the East/West divisions. But since then, there's been a lot going on. A lot of people forget, with all the crazy stuff Auburn did in 2013, they still couldn't beat us in Tiger Stadium. Before that, they went winless in SEC play in 2012, and still almost beat us. So I'm glad we beat them in Jordan-Hare, that's never easy.

Everyone forgets they almost beat that 2019 at home in Tiger Stadium.

We barely won that game and that was LSUs all time team.

Never ever count out Auburn when they play us.

Ever.

Auburn looked Burrow dead in the eyes and didn’t flinch.
