If LSU and Ala go into OT, how do you leave one out the playoffs?

Ala and LSU would both beat Clemson, and both would give Ohio St and Oklahoma a tough game. If the Tigers and Tide go into OT, the playoff committee will have a tough job.

Only the winner of the SEC gets in. Politics at play

It'll be fine. If we go into OT, we'll still be playing when the playoffs happen.

LSU is not going to get in the playoffs unless they win SEC. OU, Clemson, and OSU will get priority

Right now it looks like 4 conference champions in the playoffs. But it is October and looks like this every October. November is a bitch and is when things get crazy. I think many forget that for the LSU/Bama rematch to happen, two top 4 teams had to lose in the last weekend.

This! Ohio State, Clemson, and OU all have a history of brain farts when they have clear path to the playoffs/BCS. OU will be spouting the same line if they lose to Texas in the Big XII game. What if the tOSU vs Wiskey winner loses to the other in the B1G championship? If Oregon runs the table, there will be a clamor to let the Pac 12 in the year.

Bottom line is the SEC has produced 2, and maybe more teams that deserve to be playoff teams this season and all but 1 are getting screwed. Then they'll go lose some meaningless bowl game and the talking head dumbasses will say "See! They didn't belong!" I'm just as concerned that Bama could be the one getting screwed this year as LSU or UGA or Auburn or Florida.

If that game goes into OT, we may see the first 10 OT game where both teams hit triple digits.
