The game today fits the style Cam ran out of College. Burrow fits the game 15-20 years ago and Lawrence can play a little of both styles. You can not coach 6-5 240 with 4.5 speed.

You can't coach being a baller. Burrow would have jumped on that fumble.

Now? Cam Newton goes first of the 3.

2011? Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence both go before Cam Newton.

The game has changed so much.

Will be kind of hard for him, considering he will never be in a Super Bowl.

He would have never been there. Unless he jumped out of the stands.

So now we are saying that joe burrow DIDnt carry this team like this board said he did?

I love this bar.

Either way you slice it, 2019 best team of all time has caused a collective melt the size of Texas on tigerdroppings’ sec forum.

Cam was better than Burrow.
Lawrence isn’t that good.

Burrow and Newton had one better season. Lawerence had a better career than both. I’d go..

Newton
Lawerence
Burrow

Cam is an athletic freak. Lawerence had been a superstar since coming out of High School, and with all his hype, has had success, handled it greatly. Joey B had one great season surrounded by one of the greatest teams ever assembled. I think if all 3 went into the draft at the same time coming out of College, Burrow would be looked at like Mac Jones is in this draft.

Not a team in the NFL that would pass on Cam in today’s game.

Styles may change, but the game remains physical for those who carry it. Linebackers and strong safeties will still light you up once you tuck the ball.

Cam is nearing retirement after a decade, because his body is breaking down.
We just saw a 40+ yr old win the Super Bowl, Brees just ended his career after 2 decades.

Burrow is closest to the Brady/Brees model, and if he can get an O Line can last a very long time.

EDIT: you won't find me normally linking to an Alabama loss but here's why...and this was against some of the greatest ... Mark Ingram and Julio Jones.

Cam Newton leads a 24 point comback against Bama

This doesn't take away from Joe Burrow. He's a baller with the heart of a lion. But I'd never seen anything like Newton.

--------- END EDIT

Newton
Burrow
.
.
.
.
.
Lawrence

-IMHO
