Trask is a better QB than Corral, so no.

There's no doubt what Trask did, but essentially he bombed the ball and had the top wr/te group in the country. I'm curious how Trask would have done without Pitts, Toney, etc

Football didn’t start for me until 2007

It ended just a couple years later. The last 10 years for kansas football have been stellar.

What's so funny about this is everyone said we lost too many god WR's from the year before and Trask would take a step back in 2020. Toney only caught 10 passes in 2019. We had 4 WR's make NFL rosters as rookies in 2020 and our best RB. That is a lot of talent.

Here are the 3 of catches from 2019:
Kyle Pitts - 54
Van Jefferson 49 - NFL
Lamical Perine 40 - NFL
Freddie Swain 38 - NFL
Trevon Grimes 33
Josh Hammond 27 - NFL
Tyrie Cleveland 25 - NFL
Kadarius Toney 10 catches, 194 yds, 1 TD in 7 games (injury)

Trask made some strides from 2019 to 2020.

McElwain sucked, you’ll find some Muschamp defenders here and there but no McElwain ones

He had Nuss as his OC and refused to change.

Unless Pitts likes blocking on second and 10 draws out of the shotgun no way he would have been used properly.

Somehow Will Grier was able to be the only person to ever run that system well. I'm assuming that's cause he didn't give a frick and audibled everything

The McElwein shark story is so funny to me. It wasn’t really a thing until he got all pissed about it. Then people were like “Wait....why is he so defensive? Is it really him?” The guy should’ve just laughed it off. PR 101.

The 2012 offense might’ve been our best offense until the past season....and it was in spite of Nuss. Pretty sure Saban unplugged his headset in the 3rd Quarter of the SEC Championship game.

McElwain gave LSU what they deserved, and for that, he will always have a special place in my Gator heart.

This place and Tiger Rant was gold after that game. I will always give JM that game.

That means Mullen would have gone to Tennessee. Wonder how that would have worked out? for him and them?

If Trask had started for McElwain instead of Franks, McElwain would still have his job.

Trask was always a natural passer, and a perfect fit for McElwain's game managing offense.

Probably better we got Mullen and went to the power spread, regardless. I like an option attack, even big ol' Trask, slowest of his name, could still rip off some chunk plays with his legs. Going to be interesting to have an athletic QB doing it.

Trask did not "bomb" the ball. Most of his passes were about ten yards out, he's a surgeon. Most teams we played were playing two deep and sometimes even 3-cloud.

His average pass was 10 yards, not long nor short, right in the middle.

Yes it is. I can't wait. I just hope we don't crater college athletics prior to that when the new laws come out this summer and players can get paid.
