For all the talk about Tom Herman, I can't figure out why those schools would not be beating Chris Peterson's door down. He makes 3.6 million dollars at Washington. He must be one hell of a coach, too.

Edit: or the Texas Longhorns, for that matter

He's not leaving Washington. His kid is apparently sick and all of her doctors are up there. That's what I've read anyway.

Chris Peterson is one hell of a coach. I'd definitely go after him, although it just seems like he a West of Rockies kind of guy. I would hate it if UT or LSU got him although it would really be great for the SEC.

I'd take him over Herman in an instant. However, I don't think he'll be coming East anytime soon

He has proven that he is an outstanding coach. I would put him up with saban. To consistantly win at boise alone shows hes a great coach, but to bring washington back to. Neither school is surrounded by great recruits.

Pretty much what everyone said up top. Petersen finally left Boise St. and it was only one school he would have left for and he is at it.

Hell of a coach that is for sure.

He's staying, anyone who thinks he would head east is kidding themselves.

I'm going to get downvotes for this, but I would throw a ton of money at Josh McDaniels if they miss on Herman and Jimbo just to see what happens. I doubt he would come to college because he will have a lot of pro interest, but shite at least kick the tires on it.

Peterson has a special needs son. He could have left Boise many times for more money or a better opportunity.

Washington finally made some type of special medical arrangements and that allowed him to move.

He probably is not going anywhere.

Petersen is brought up every single day on the coaching changes board, he's not coming here ever. Money is NOT what's important to him or he would have left Boise years ago.

There's only one place he would have left Boise for, and he's coaching there right now.

No. His youngest son had health issues as a child (not special needs) and is now fully recovered. Those health issues kept him in Boise, not brought him to Washington.

The kid is fine now and is, I think, about to graduate High School.

Just for giggles I went over to Volnation to check out how those folks feel about it...HO LEE SHEET! That place is crazy.

ie:

"Belive this or not. This shocked the Fatz

Hurd got pissed when confronted by Butch about fumble at UGA. Told butch to f off and he was the team and they woupdnt win another game without him.

Why has he not been playin? Cauae he refused to go in after the success he saw Alvin and Jelly had. Yes told coaches he wasnt goin back in. No injuries also team confronted him. He says I quit!

Glad he gone.
This is facts

Lova yall Go Vols"
