I sit out and work with expert football trainers and get healthy and enter the 2021 draft.
Anyone else agree?
Or skip draft altogether if possible. Can he do that if he forgoes this year and doesn't play next year?

How does he pay for medical care if he's not drafted or on scholarship? You really thought this one through.

Agent
Or endorsements.

I think his best choice depends on his recovery. If he heals up before the draft (in time to have a good workout/pro day), he should go this year. If not, he should come back to bama for the scholarship and coaching but not participate (redshirt).
I don't even want him to come back and play. I just want him to do what's best for him.

Man what a freak injury. You rarely hear of people dislocating their hip. Here’s to a speedy recovery

What's best would probably be to work with QB coaches and teach at camps like the Manning camp.
Go into a year of focusing on training and health.
Or become an analyst for Saban. Help coach up his brother and Jones.

Agents don't take on year plus projects, which is what you are describing.

I’m no doctor but this doesn’t seem like the type of injury that will be healed in 5 months for the draft. If I’m Tua, I stay on scholarship and take a medical RS next year and get that free healthcare and rehab then evaluate where I’m at next year. This isn’t a torn ACL where you kind of know what to expect for the most part.

What kind of endorsement deals do you think he's going to sign before he signs his first pro contract? How will the agent get paid before the 2021 draft, ironstein?

If you were Tua I’d tell you your plan is retarded.

Dole, doing pineapple juice commercials?

If Im Tua I make a business decision and transfer to the school and prove myself in a NFL offense. That school is LSU. I then destroy Nick Saban for trying to ruin my livelihood.

Alabama should cover his medical care pretty
Much regardless of what he’s does going forward.
He got hurt playing for Bama

UA will pay for it as long as he's on scholarship and attending classes. He could stay on scholarship through the 2021 season if that's what he chooses.
If he enters the 2020 draft, then I am assuming that his recovery went well.

Most of their analysts have some sort of side gig or are also doing work on ESPN (i.e. Marcus Spears).

Way too early to even have an idea if he will even be able to play pro ball. He may make a full recovery, but then he may find he just isn’t going to be able to do what he was doing. There are still a lot of ifs, but hopefully he will be able to do what he wants to do. Very unlikely from the explanation one doctor on Youtube gave about the injury and surgery that he will know for sometime, maybe as much as a year to even be in football shape. This is nothing like the ankle surgery.
