So because Herschel Walker didn't win the Heisman in his freshman year means that Johnny Manziel can't do it either? Unlike Walker, Manziel is a redshirt freshman.

You're obviously Simple Jack retarded, so I'll try to break this down as simply as possible for you:
The guy wrote "inb4BoJacksonandBarrySanders" in a thread regarding freshmen winning the Heisman (or rather the lack of freshmen winning the Heisman regardless of worthiness). I pointed out that the two players he mentioned didn't have anything worthy of Heisman greatness their freshman years.
I then agreed with a list of freshmen who should've (or should, in JFF's case) won the Heisman. Where in my post do I say that since Herschel didn't win as a freshman neither should Manziel?
If you're going to try and argue, try not to suck so badly at it.

I would love to hear you tell me how Herschel Walker, as good as he was, is better than Barry Sanders.
Yes, Barry had the best season ever as a college RB, but he did it only one year. To me, one year doesn't make you the best player in college football. Every year Herschel was amazing. I'll quote one of my previous posts, "Herschel had 150 yards, but Georgia's total offense came to just 127 in the '81 Sugar Bowl. Herschel could outrun arithmetic." Herschel led UGA to three straight National Championship appearances. What did Barry do? Oklahoma St. was 3rd in their conference and lost to the only two teams that were decent that year. During Herschel's stay at UGA, they only lost 1 regular season game and 3 games altogether in three years. Not only was HW34 the whole UGA offense, but their opponents knew it too, yet no one could stop him.

When you rush for 2,800 yards and 43 TDs in that one year it does. It was backed up by his pro career as well.

Pro career is a moot point. That would be like saying someone's college career is boosted by the 5938209838794 yards he put up in high school.

I have to make this statement, since his name was mentioned. Herschel Walker was the greatest college football player to ever play the game and I'd be shocked if that ever changes.

But Barry Sanders put up more yards and scored more touchdowns in one season than most college players put up in an entire career. Alabama's career rushing touchdown record holder is Mark Ingram. He scored 42 touchdowns in three years. Barry Sanders scored 43 in a single season.

If Barry Sanders wasn't backing up a future CFB and NFL Hall of Famer, he would've easily held the title of GOAT. When you dominate so much in one season that you're constantly mentioned as having one of the best college careers, you've done something special.
If if's and but's were candies and nuts, then every day would be Erntedankfest. Based on total body of work, it's hard to argue against Walker as the best college RB of all time.
