UGA fans are overly confident after beating powerhouse Auburn and coming back out of the woodwork

Georgia fans are a bunch of hindsight motherfrickers but they did beat you by three touchdowns. You'd best be served saving your smack for when the UK fans come up for air.

UGA football started in 1892 bitch we've had fans before your school was 25 years old.

Total bullshite. Herschel should have won the Heisman 3 years in a row. I hate UGA as much as any LSU fan hates all things non-LSU. That said, Herschel was the greatest.

Loved Herschel and saw him play. You can certainly argue he deserved that Heisman as a Freshman. That has nothing to do with JFF though. Plenty of great players deserved to win Heisman's and didn't and plenty of guys DID win that looking back are real head scratchers. It's a political and complex award.

FWIW, it's a hell of a lot better for the SEC for Manziel to win it over Klein. It's a monster, monster story. Obviously it is great for A&M but it is great for the conference and further validates expansion. Certainly a Freshman with a Heisman at A&M would be very nice for Slive to have as he works out the SEC Network contract as well as the renegotiation of the 1st and 2nd Tier deals.

Ummm... What?

Barry Sanders didn't get first string playing time until his junior year. He played behind Thurman Thomas his first two years.

Bo Jackson had a solid freshman year (839/9), but nothing heisman worthy.

This is the correct list

I would love to hear you tell me how Herschel Walker, as good as he was, is better than Barry Sanders.

so because the Heisman system was flawed decades ago, we must continue to perpetuate a flawed system? The logic here is retarded.

That has nothing to do with greatness. Cam Newton only played a single year as a starter in Division I football. Does that make him any less great than if he had started as a freshman? I don't think so.
