I can't stand Herman and was happy he did not come to Baton Rouge, even though he did play us to get more money from Texas! If he's fired, is there any SEC program willing to give him a shot? He's a big name, had success at Houston, average at Texas, but did help Ohio State win a national championship. I don't want him within a hundred miles from BR, but I figured another SEC team might welcome him with open arms.

I'd imagine Vandy or South Carolina would be happy with him. Well, maybe not south carolina.

Somebody might. Will be interesting to see.

The problem is that coaches come out of the Texas job looking like they've been physically assaulted because of the unrealistic expectations of the fans and media in Austin

That's a good point. It's doesn't help Herman that the Aggies are winning and sitting in the top 5 in the polls.

Said this a few days in a thread asking about a Herman-SC marriage:

No way.

By all accounts he was our first choice before we hired Muschamp but he backed off after we lost to the Citadel.

If he was scared about rebuilding South Carolina then than there is no way either party should be interested in the either one now.
