Play this year. How would you feel.

I am apathetic about it at this point, although I wouldn't mind seeing a Braves game just to wash the bad taste out of my mouth from Game 5 of last year's NLDS.
At the end of the day sportsball is nothing more than entertainment tho.

Don't care about baseball, but I'll be pretty damned depressed if there's no football this year.

I'd be upset but it's not the end of the world. Sports will be back at some point and their return will be glorious.

I think the over 60 crowd would be able to take it much easier than young people.

Depending on how much younger... It doesn't seem to me like it would affect younger people (Gen Y and Gen Z)as much as it would my group (Gen X).

The over 60 crowd would just increase their Fox News or CNN consumption, TL;DR rants on Facebook and Nextdoor, and have the best gardens they've ever had.
I'll be squeezing in a Saturday morning workout instead of plopping my arse down to watch Gameday or SEC Nation, camping, hiking, and shooting.

As far as I am concerned you are right about the garden and shooting. About the only tv I watch is Maine Cabin Masters and the Weather Channel.

I've gotten into the reality shows about morbidly obese people and little people. They are fascinating. I wish they would make a show about morbidly obese little people, but not sure that is a thing?

I'd miss football, but I'm kind of enjoying not having sports. Spending more time with family and not being disappointed.

No Basketball and Football would suck. I could survive without College Baseball

I’m pretty down about baseball right now. Had a big trip to Omaha planned and when I finally gave up and cancelled the reservations it was disappointing. I gave up on college basketball when the one and done kicked into high gear, so I wouldn’t care if the sport was completely cancelled. Looking forward to football because of Leach, but other than that I have lost interest in it also with all the “political” BS being thrown into it.

I love how guys with thousands of post on a sports forum really wanna act like they would be perfectly fine without sports.
You are lying. You damn sure know you would be pissed as shite.

College baseball is the only one who won’t get political which is why it may be the only sport I ever watch again

Other than college baseball like I mentioned, I really haven’t missed anything. If big time sports never came back I wouldn’t care, other than the fact that I enjoyed it so much as a kid I hate that my kids would miss out on it. But frankly, the days of my childhood with the Jordan/Bird/Magic, Montana/Dorsett/Rice, and Strawberry/Canseco/Ryan (when it was just a game played by ball players) are long gone and don’t ever appear to be coming back, so I am not so sure that in the long run we aren’t better off without the big time sports anyway.
