How in the hell is HE going to clean up that "culture" down there? Florida needs the right "fit" and this geeky yankee that nobody likes is NOT that fit.
Flame on Florida fans, but he is NOT your SAVIOR. It will never work.

This definitely would have felt out of place in the thread claiming Florida will hire Chip Kelly

Players at Oregon loved him. Ran a clean program after he dealt with Masoli and the incidents during the summer after his first year. Only issue was Cliff Harris kept smoking weed.

he'll get a show cause in 4 years and they'll be back to irrelevant

lol his show cause was for peanuts compared to what happens in the SEC. He is gonna be fine with the wealth of talent at his disposal in Florida.

Those athletes aren't going to do much until they can get a qb that can complete a pass without crossing his fingers first.

UF is more relevant at its lowest than Miss State at its highest.

Say that in a few weeks when they are sitting at home during bowl season. Again.

I think any Southern job is a bad fit for him. He belongs out West.
Maybe it works, but I'm thinking he is going to be grateful to leave Florida when this plays out badly.
Just not cut from Meyer's cloth. First time he has to help cover up a Calloway or Hernandez type he's going to develop a twitch that never goes away.

Follow up question.... Can he recruit without that Phil Knight $$$

An average-to-Bad recruiting year at UF is better than Oregon’s best.
He’ll get plenty of Florida athletes that will be far superior as a whole to anything he had at Oregon.
He needs to hire a few stud recruiters that know Florida well and a solid DC and he’ll dominate there.

I don't get why they want the guy. His offense isn't that hard to defend with discipline.
Hell, If Les Miles can scheme against him I wouldn't want him anywhere near my facility.

They’ll be fantastic on offense with kelly. Defense will take a hit though.

Yes but not at the level the Gators need.
