If Coach O can recruit a QB

LSU could be a contender very soon. While it rained Saturday, I watched some of last years Clemson v Pitt game. Canada's offense is very Mullen-like. Not identical, but close enough to be first cousins. If LSU can keep Canada and get an athletic QB they could challenge Bama a lot sooner than expected.

Canada will be a HC at a G5 team next year and Orgeron will be fired after 7-5 in year 2.

Everyone already knows this but there will be a couple ppl with their heads in the sand saying we're a middle of the road SEC program.

its not if he can recruit a qb is if the coaching staff can develop one. we signed two 4 stars last recruiting cycle. the talent is there.

Nice. I didn't compare his offense to Mullens as a praise of Mullen, but more as an example of the contrast to LSU's offense of the past decade. Canada ran Clemson ragged with inferior talent

It's more the kind of QB. Lsu needs a mobile pocket QB that's a really good game manager. The talent, on both sides of the ball, on the rest of the team will get the job done. Imo that's always been their problem as they go for the running qb.

its actually all about protecting the quarterback to beat bama your offensive line is the most important piece, and you have to gain some yards on first and second down. you wont win if you in third and long situations all game long.

Da Coach O had some of the worst offense in college football when he was at Ole Miss. Couple that with how awful the QB play has been at LSU and why would a good QB recruit choose to go to LSU?

Canada will be head coach at MsState in 2020. Dan will be headed to coach the Dallas Cowboys.

If any SEC Team can find a QB they can be a contender. They SEC has lacked quality QB play the last 10 years. Those who have it contend.

Gonna be tough when you have Mullen poaching talent. LSU fans sure are gonna be mad when they realize they let another Dak slip away in Keytaon Thompson.

2018 LSU plays Miami and 5 of the Big 6. Etling and Guice will be gone, good chance you have a new OC breaking in a new QB and a new RB.
You can't even regularly beat Arkansas; that is a brutal schedule for what will be a team dealing with a lot of turnover.
