I'm thinking Notre Dame.

ACC already said they'd schedule as many games with ND as ND needed to fill out their schedule.

America if it costs us the Army vs. Navy game in December.

Not to mention (assuming every conference were to pick up this method) Army is an independent and could watch Navy and Air Force play full seasons while Army has nobody to schedule since it'd be non-conference for whoever their opponent would be (sans the other independents)

Teams without conferences, obviously.

ETA - as far as playoffs go, it hurts the SEC. OSU, Clemson, OU, and Oregon don't have much (if any) competition in conference.

Probably the G5 teams who needed a check from the P5 ones.

Every G5 school because they won’t have any money.

I doubt G5's are going the same. They need all the exposure and money they can.

I highly doubt Army-Navy is cancelled.

Those are probably the two bodies of student-athletes that are the easiest to control/mitigate COVID exposure to.

Texas A&M. They will pick up at least one additional top level opponent from the East.

It’s clearly the ULM, Arkansas States, ULL, and Troys of the world. I’m sure these schools are already expecting lower level sports funded by a 1.5 million payout by an SEC school to be cut out

This. It's going to destroy the G5, and the FCS.

But won't someone think of Notre Dame with their national TV deal and ACC affiliation?

The PAC12. They had OSU and Michigan coming out West as well as a neutral site versus Bama. They had a shot to change some perceptions

Don't think for a second this won't impact the P5 programs because it really hurts them too.

LSU generates around $25 million in revenue for a home game against say a school like Troy State. That's $25 million that is now gone from the LSU athletic budget. We make $25 million whether its Troy State or Alabama per home game so from a revenue perspective losing a Troy State is as important as losing a game against Alabama.

The largest payout for a one-game deal with no return this season reportedly is $1.9 million by Auburn to Massachusetts. UMass has a $10 million budget for football. The Auburn game scheduled for Nov. 14 offsets much of the expenses for the rest of the Minutemen’s schedule, athletic director Ryan Bamford said

Regardless of what any conference does, I'm willing to bet there are some FCS schools that will decide to not play football this season because it will take more money to actually play the games than they can possibly make, especially with reduced attendances.
