Say they beat lsu and Clemson and handled uga and bama they way they did in the regular season but then lose to Georgia in ccg just as they did. What happens? I think they get in over bama but that's just me.

One of the best 3 loss teams in the country.

Yes. Dumb question

If we beat LSU, I think we get in. The LSU debacle cost us big time, but it helped turn a switch on in Gus that we haven't seen in a while.

Of course they would. A 12-1 team that beat an 11-1 team?

If my aunt did in fact have balls, would she be my uncle?

No. No one would want to possibly see Auburn and UGa play for a 3rd time this year.
But, IMO, they should be in.

I would say that is a strong possibility.

Actually, I think OSU would get in if you had two losses. We'll never know, though. You would have two losses against quality opponents, and I think you probably should go if that were the case, since OSU had a really bad loss. But the committee loves them some OSU, so.....

No, OSU would have been chosen instead

Here’s another hypothetical:
Auburn squeaks by Clemson.
Auburn then loses a very close game to MSU.
The rest of the season plays out the way it actually did.
You have 10-2 Auburn team that beat Clemson, UGA, and Bama
Do they get into the CFP over OSU and the SECCG loser?

there is no precedent ever...ever...for another team getting in over the Crimson Tide. not only is the idea unrealistic, its also blasphemy in the eyes of Mark Emmert chairman of the NCAA in particular, and the whole NCAA in general.

The committee would've quickly expanded the playoffs to five teams in that situation - including Bama.

No, tOSU gets in.
UA got in on past performance and reputation. AU doesn't have that credit built up.
It would have been 2004 BCS all over again, Blue Bloods get the benefit of the doubt.

If Wisconsin went 12-1 and bama went 11-1, would Wisconsin get in over bama?
