Jahvon Quinerly will be the reason why. The injury slowed him down a lot. Now he is healthy and is playing at an extremely high level like he did two years ago.

Guard play is a big part of it. But BAMA is rebounding and playing defense at an elite level. The depth of the team is amazing. When the 3s are falling, BAMA becomes a full-on tree-shredding machine.

Agreed. For some reason Bama fans griped when I called him a star, but having an adult in the locker room and on the court makes a big difference.

No doubt the defense is playing at a really high level. But I will always say a good offense keeps you going deep in the tourney (to go along with a decent defense). Adding another 15+ ppg player to go along with Miller is such a nasty combo.

Q's scoring and experience are a big addition to a young team. It is a pick-your-poison problem for other teams. Who do you double?

Huh? This thread is about Quinerly, not Miller.

I've never understood the obsession with the Final Four. It's like making the playoff and losing immediately. But somehow in basketball, it seems almost the same as winning the whole thing. Weird.

They might not. But, I wouldn't put more than a dollar on it.

I told you last time you attempted this transparent and geezerly troll attempt that this wasn’t going to work for you

The actual Bama fans are saying the same thing as me, why does this upset you? Having the veteran Quinerly around is huge.

From Bamameister: "Q's scoring and experience are a big addition to a young team."

They haven’t played a good team yet… they played TAMU - community college and a mediocre/poor Maryland team…

In fairness, they earned a top seed, which means you are more likely to have an easier path. And they have gotten breaks with upsets in their bracket, but again, that's part of the tournament. Some teams get easier paths than others. They still count the same.

Well we did beat the team that just bounced Auburn from the tourney, so...there's that.
