Programs should be allowed more official visits, extended communication time, and more access to recruits based on gradation numbers.
Get rid of coaching analyst positions.
Other thoughts?

Day 1, power 5 draft.
Day 2, group 5 draft.
Day 3, other conferences.

65 scholarships. Conference Champs requirement to playoffs. More balancing of divisions (reorg every 5 years).

Not sure having recruits spend more time looking through A&M's empty Hall of Champions will help.

That wouldn't change much about the teams running the show. Bama's GSR is 93.

Why in the world? Nothing is stopping other schools from employing these analysts. People pretend that it's Alabama's budget that allows for this - but it's not. We pay them very, very little. The difference is they line up to get in the door to work for Coach Saban.

Dumb. Nobody wants to watch a 9-4 or 8-5 team in the Playoffs just because they upset the best team in the country the week before.

Legalize cheating, it happens anyway. Why should only certain schools live without fear.

70.
That's 3 deep at every position (66) plus 4 specialists (kicker, longsnapper, etc).
This would also make scholarship penalties for violations actually hurt.
Remove redshirt rules. Everyone has 5 years of eligibility. More 5th year seniors sticking around means less space for that team's new class which means they go somewhere else.

Terrible idea.

Even worse idea.

Exactly. Don't people understand that this means that less kids will get an opportunity at a scholarship and to further their education?

Setup a system for student athletes to be paid each year, and the worse your team ranks in your division the more you are allowed to pay.

Stop the bama cheating

You want to give coach Saban even more time and opportunity to recruit? That'll work.

So, in other words, limit the rights of young people to have access to the schools where they want to go.
Hell no.

What the frick is wrong with you people?

Fine. As I always say when you bring this up, we'll take those 20 scholarships and make hockey an NCAA sport, since we kick your asses on the ice every time we've played.
And since you've never beaten us in hockey, you'll then try to find some way to manufacture parity there also.

If this is happening, then "tutors" need to go also. Bama has a whole office set up to do school work for its college players. Reuben Foster literally reads on a 5th grade level, yet he spent 3 years in college classes.
