I'm an Alabama alum, but I've never understood this argument. There are people who never attended the university that put more money into the football program every year than I ever will in my lifetime.

Yea I'm a Bama alum also but I was a fan before I went to school there (I'm from Tuscaloosa too). It's kind of naïve or just ignorant to think only people that graduated and/or attended can be fans of an academic institution.
