I'd give up my cowbell forever to never hear Vandy whistlers again

The repetition is bad enough, but the whistle's high frequency is like nails on a chalkboard. The reason humans hate these kinds of noises are they have same frequency as a baby crying or someone screaming. It triggers a fight/flight response. So hearing it over and over is like a primeval version of Chinese water torture.
As a State fan, I love my cowbell but understand how annoying they can be for visiting fans. That said, these whistles are so unbearable I would legitimately trade in my cowbell to never hear them again.

The cowbells make MSU fans look like the trashiest redneck idiots in the country, and they don't even realize it.

It's a sacrifice I am willing to make.

Maybe. But we also embrace who we are and where we came from.
Also, I went to State during Croom. Back then, Cowbells were all we had.

They are both equally annoying.

Stop being a cuck. Your cowbell is only for football games where constant noise is not bothersome. And 20,000 cowbells at once is not nearly as annoying as one or two cowbells. Baseball is not supposed to be a rowdy raucous affair like football. Stop trying to apologize to tRant for our cowbells. They can all go frick themselves. But the public outcry regarding these two assholes is obvious that not one single damn person wants to hear it.

Your man loved cowbells so much that he almost went to a school that he didn't like, to play for a coach he hated

Pic is also proof that Cameron Jerrell Newton has rung more cowbell at MSU games than I have

I get it. I love my cowbell. It’s tradition. But most people here seem to think they give us some kind of noise advantage at home games. Yea they’re loud, but yelling is louder in the sense it projects towards the field. Cowbell noise project upwards. And despite what people think, our fans have been surprisingly good at switching from “bell to yell” once the opposing QB is under center. It’s actually pretty cool to hear. What I hate is how SOME State fans use it as a crutch, ie, ringing instead of ever yelling.

Frick them. It’s tradition. Georgia fans are just salty their best tradition is pissing in the bushes around the game

Don't realize it??? Hell, that's why I do it.

Exactly. At least we embrace our redneckness while others in the SEC like to pretend they’re cosmopolitan enclaves.

He doesn't look like he's enjoying himself. He looks annoyed. No wonder he wouldn't go there for $200k

He was having a damn good time when i saw him. They even brought him on the field at halftime. Daddys church money won that one. Which reminds me. Auburns best tradition is cheating

Well remind me again how many times Miss St football has been put on probation or lost scholarships since the last time Auburn was? Is it 3 or 4?
